Professor Johnson received her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 1996 and a Master of Social Work in 1997, both from Wayne State University. Her concentration was in mental health and school social work. She is licensed in Michigan and Illinois as a clinical social worker. Ms. Henderson received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Child Development, a minor in Fine Arts and a Child Welfare Certificate, from Marygrove College in 2010. She is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Reading and Literacy, also at Marygrove. Ultimately, she is interested in working to increase community literacy among adults. From 2005-2011, Ms. Henderson served as the Departmental Secretary for the Marygrove College Education Department. In May 2011, she accepted the position of Administrative Assistant for the Social Work, Religious Studies, Philosophy and Humanities Departments.

Professor Hanselman received her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2000 from Marygrove College and her Master of Social Work degree in 2001 from Wayne State University. She began teaching at Marygrove College as an adjunct professor in 2006, and joined the social work department as a half-time faculty member in 2008.

Her MSW concentration was Clinical Social Work with an emphasis on violence and the resulting issues of posttraumatic stress disorder, dissociative identity disorder, anxiety, and depression.
