Purpose: To clarify the terms under which Marygrove College Library has reciprocal borrowing arrangements with other libraries

Statement of Policy
Marygrove College Library participates in the InfoPass program of SEMLOL (Southeastern Michigan League of Libraries). Marygrove students obtain an InfoPass from a Marygrove librarian. With that InfoPass (which must be used within 10 days of its issue) and their current terms student I.D., Marygrove students may borrow materials from any of the approximately thirty-five participating institutions participating in the program. Materials borrowed from other libraries must be returned to those institutions. Non-Marygrove students with an InfoPass from their home institution, must present their InfoPass along with their current terms student I.D. in order to borrow. materials from the Marygrove College Library. Items borrowed must be returned to the Marygrove College Library, not to the home institution.
Marygrove College Library also has a reciprocal borrowing agreement with the colleges in the Detroit area Catholic consortium: Madonna University; University of Detroit-Mercy; Sacred Heart Seminary; Ave Maria; and St. Marys College, Orchard Lake. Students from these participating institutions may circulate materials (with the same stipulations mentioned above) by presenting their current college I.D. and a drivers license or state I.D.
Marygroves circulation policies apply to the various categories library users who wish to take out materials from the Marygrove College Library. Check with library staff or circulation policies on the librarys website for details.
Marygrove College Library reserves the right to enforce academic penalties and/or bill users who do not return borrowed items or who incur charges for items returned overdue or damaged.
