Marygrove College is pleased to offer prospective students the ability to check the transferability of courses taken at other institutions. Please review the information provided below which will help you in understanding our transfer credit policy. We are continuously updating our transfer equivalencies; if a course is not listed, it has not yet been evaluated and may or may not be transferable.
Generally, Marygrove will accept college level courses from an accredited institution if a grade of C (2.0 grade point average) or better was obtained and if the course is comparable to course offerings and programs of study offered at Marygrove. Although developmental courses (below 100 level) are not transferable, they may be used in determining course placement.
Marygrove College allows for the transfer of a maximum of 64 semester hours of credit from a two-year accredited institution. A maximum of 98 (with no more than 84 lower division credit hours – 100/200 level) semester hours of credit may be transferred from four-year colleges or universities. If you have attended both two-year and four-year institutions, you may transfer a maximum of 98 semester hours of credit from all institutions attended.
Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to Marygrove in order to be deemed official and considered for evaluation.
