Tanya Davidson
Reference & Instructional Services Librarian

About Me

An East Coast transplant, Tanya has cultivated her roots in Michigan since 2003. After more than a decade-long career in Restaurant Management, a career change called to her and she focused on her love of reading, lifelong learning, and working with people. Blending these things together naturally led to a career in academic librarianship. In addition to her work at Marygrove College, Tanya is involved in extensive volunteer work through the Michigan Library Association, her local elementary school, the Women's National Book Association, of which she held several positions on the Detroit Chapter Executive Board, and most recently has co-founded the forthcoming event group titled PopUP Book Club, Detroit.
