About Me

Diane S. Brown, IHM, PhD was appointed the Coordinator for the Academic Department of Marygrove College's Master in the Art of Teaching program in 2007 and the Director in 2010. In 2014 She became the Chair of the Education Division of the College. Brown's research interests include student-teacher interactions in the online environment and the use of Currere as a method to retain experienced teachers in the profession. Prior to the Marygrove appointment, Brown taught first through tenth grades for 21 years in Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma in both public and private schools.
