MCDC Summer Event
July 26, 27 & 28 • 9 a.m. – Noon • Liberal Arts Building, Room 211
Free classes offered for students 12 years of age and up, intermediate to advanced levels. All classes are taught by Marygrove College Dance faculty and master teachers. No registration or fees required.
October – Caitlin Abraham, Artist in Residence
Broadway: An American in Paris (Dir/Chor Christopher Wheeldon), La Cage aux Folles (Dir. Terry Johnson). National Tour: Chicago the Musical (Chor. Gary Chryst). Caitlin films on a continual basis with the Fosse Workshop in New York City, reconstructing Bob Fosse’s original choreography for the archival purposes of the Verdon Fosse Legacy.
Before her musical theater career, Caitlin was a Soloist at Carolina ballet, where she performed principal roles in masterworks by Balanchine, Robbins, Limon & Taylor-Corbett, as well as a number of roles created on her. Caitlin has also enjoyed performing to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Amnesty International, and Dancers Responding to AIDS.
Caitlin is also a guest teacher and choreographer at schools in the tri-state area and across the US.
Oakland Dance Festival
Saturday, November 18 · Harrison High School, Farmington Hills
The festival offers various master classes, some of which will be taught by Marygrove faculty. The Marygrove College Dance Company will perform in the Showcase Concert on Saturday evening.

The MCDC Experience is an event for selected high school seniors. Spend the day with the Marygrove College Dance Company; take class, learn repertoire and meet our talented dancers and acclaimed faculty.
