Debra ChervenyDebra Cherveny:  Began her classical ballet training at the Taynton School and the Center for Creative Studies, in Detroit, with Mme. Mao and Joanne Danto.  Her studies continued with scholarships at the Dance Theatre of Harlem Professional Ballet School in New York City. She then earned her BFA/Dance Performance degree at Marygrove College. Ms. Chervenys professional credits include performances with the Michigan Opera Theatre, Onyx Modern Dance Company, on tour with Ms. Aretha Franklin throughout the United States and Canada, including the Radio City Music Hall, and Carnegie Hall in New York City.  Debra serves as the ballet instructor at DMX Dance Center and is currently adjunct faculty for the Marygrove College undergraduate dance department and the Institute of Music & Dance.
