Live on Campus!

Florent Gillet Hall – A Living and Learning Environment

Marygrove’s residence hall Florent Gillet is a diverse living and learning community that provides opportunities for students to engage in the Catholic liberal arts experience. As a resident of Florent Gillet, you will not only receive meals and convenient housing, you will also be surrounded by social and educational opportunities that promote growth and self-fulfillment.

Through the combined efforts of the residence hall staff and various student organizations, we strive to develop a sense of community and promote student involvement. The success of the residence hall program, however, depends directly upon the student’s self-commitment and his or her commitment to the residence hall community.

Life at Florent Gillet provides residents with several advantages—in fact, studies show that students who live on campus persist more quickly to graduation; this is a direct result of completely engaging in the college experience. In addition to this, Residence Hall students have greater opportunities to build community by participating in events and programs, by developing student groups with roommates and other residents, and by simply having easier access to resources.
