PRESIDENT (Since 2006)

David J. Fike, Ph.D., is the 8th president of Marygrove College.

LOCATION

Founded in 1905 in Monroe, Michigan, by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM), Marygrove was later relocated to Detroit, Michigan, in 1927. Marygrove has six buildings that sit on 53 acres of trees and beautiful landscape.

CAMPUS

Marygrove College is a private, liberal arts, co-educational institution with three semesters: Fall, Winter and Summer.

ACCREDITATION

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is an independent corporation and one of two commission members of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), which is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States.

Marygrove has the approval of the State of Michigan Department of Education for its teacher certification programs.
