The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) released the final seeding and brackets for the 2011 Men’s Basketball National Championship. Marygrove is the 7^th overall seed in the 8-team tournament. The seeding pairs the Mustangs against the #2 seeded Knights of Southern Virginia University at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2. The quarterfinal round game will begin the single elimination tournament for the Mustangs.

If the Mustangs knock off Southern Virginia, they will earn a day off before competing against the winner of the Oakwood (AL) v. Lindenwood-Belleville (IL) game on Friday. A loss will pit them against the loser of the aforementioned game on Thursday.

SKILLS COMPETITION
Three Mustangs will be competing in the 2011 USCAA Skills Competition before the tournament begins. The trio will compete against top USCAA talent in the dunk contest, 3-point shootout and free throw competition.
