Peter Hammer, the Director of the Damon Keith Center for Civil Rights will speak on the Present and Future of Detroit.

A talk by and discussion with Peter Hammer (professor of economics and law), Director of the Damon Keith Center for Civil Rights on: Detroit’s Future – what will work and who benefits? Pastor Bill Wylie Kellerman (St. Peter’s, Detroit) will provide a brief response Event will be held in the evening in Denk Hall (depending upon Peter’s availability). (NOTE: Peter Hammer was the first (openly gay) male professor who was refused tenure at U of M Law School)This is a great opportunity for our pre-law students to connect with him (social justice and political science will be sponsoring with MCHR).
