This play takes a comedic look at the grass being greener on entirely opposite sides. Jane Martin weaves the tale of a runaway, award winning, B-movie actress who is ‘somebody’, namely Sheena Keener, who wants nothing more to do with people, fame or fanfare. Sheena turns up seeking refuge in a low rent district of L.A. at the apartment of Loli, a runaway, homespun, ‘nobody’ girl who is fresh from Kansas, freshly fired from her job as a mechanic and desperately wants to be somebody. What ensues is a hilarious look at the cult of celebrity.
