National Recovery Month may be over but Marygrove College‘s commitment to developing addiction recovery professionals continues. The next workshop in the Applied Professional Education Seminars for Addiction Professionals (and others in the helping professions) series will meet on Friday, October 26th on the beautiful Marygrove College campus. David Sampson, CEO of Detroit’s highly regardedMariners Inn will speak on The Recovery Community and Peer Support Services from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Sampson is an expert on recovery communities through training and his work at Mariners Inn as both a therapist and administrator over the past 10 years. Mariners Inn is a 24 hour, residential, substance abuse treatment facility for adult, homeless, men of Southeastern Michigan.
