The "Defining Detroit" series continues on Wednesday, October 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Dining Room when Dr. Beth Tompkins Bates (Wayne State University) will present a lecture on her new book, The Making of Black Detroit in the Age of Henry Ford (Univ North Carolina Press, 2012).
