This lunchtime conversation will be a discussion of participants' experiences in the summer 2012 Faculty Resource Network (FRN) at New York University. The FRN sponsors a variety of professional development programs for faculty from over fifty colleges and universities, including Marygrove. This summer six faculty members attended two different sessions: Mary Byrnes, Christine Malmsten, and Dena Scher attended the seminar "Exploring Women's Knowledge through Oral History." Linda Brawner, Judith Gold, and Theodora Williams attended "Interactive Technologies for Teaching and Learning." After the presentations, we will talk about the various opportunities the FRN offers for its members. |
