Marygrove College has its own art gallery for students to enjoy. "The Gallery" features works by Marygrove students and faculty and guest artists. A distinguishing feature of the Gallery is the solid bronze grillwork at the entrance of the exhibit space.

Studio artists may use a computer graphics lab equipped with Apple Macintosh computers, software, printmaking facilities and equipment, a photographic laboratory, a woodshop, and a ceramic studio.

Beyond Words Art Gallery

The Beyond Words art gallery is located in the Library of the Liberal Arts building. It is part of the original library, and visitors pass through the luxurious, wood paneled reading room to get there.

The gallery features work by Michigan artists. In the past four years, it has exhibited work in two dimensional media, sculpture, ceramics and installation.

The gallery opened in Febuary 2001, and has had a full schedule of exhibtions since then. The space had 14 foot high ceilings and ten foot high windows, which create a spacious and well lit environment. It is most suitable for one-person exhibitions ranging from 10 to 24 works, depending on their size. The Beyond Words gallery is open the same hours as the library.

The Student Technology Instruction Center (STIC)

The Student Technology Instruction Center is a resource for students, staff, and alumni who want to improve their technology literacy skills through group training sessions, one-on-one consultations, and access to "just in time" online tutorials.

The STIC also provides lab space and assistance to students needing to write papers, produce PowerPoint presentations, scan documents, and access Blackboard and other applications.
