Ms. Panek has taught at the University of Michigan, Juliana’s Academy of Dance, Lascu School of Ballet, Pointe Academy of Dance, Geiger Ballet Academy, Premiere Music & Dance, Gone Dancin’, Troy Dance Connection, and the Cre8tive Fine Arts Academy.

Ms. Panek has appeared in concert with Dance Nonce, Dance Detroit and the Writhm Dance Company. She has served as the Ballet Mistress, Children’s Rehearsal Director and Executive Managing Director of The Nutcracker with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.  She has held the position of Artistic Director and member of the Premiere Dance Company, and co-owned and co-directed the Premiere Plus Youth Dance Program.  Ms. Panek’s choreographic works can be seen at Marygrove College, Orchestra Hall, the Hillberry Theatre, the Actor’s Alliance, and in various community and high school productions.

Ms. Panek earned a BFA in dance from Marygrove College and a MA in education from the University of Michigan, Dearborn.
