Judith Molina
Ms. Molina is a native New Yorker and a graduate of the “Famed” High School for the Performing Arts. She received a BFA in dance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, and has studied in the United States and Europe with such teachers as Dame Alicia Markova, Rosella Hightower, Merce Cunningham and James Truitte. She has performed with the New York City Opera, Cincinnati Ballet, Contemporary Dance Theatre, Merce Cunningham Westbeth Performance, Chamber Dance Ensemble in New York, Detroit Chamber Winds, Dance Detroit and Detroit City Dance Company (also serving as its ballet mistress). Ms. Molina has taught at Tulane University, Loyola University and Oakland University, and is currently a faculty member in Marygrove College's dance department. She is the children's rehearsal director for the Michigan Opera Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker, and has been a guest teacher for numerous private and public schools and workshops. Her choreography has been performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Chamber Winds, Oakland University Dance Theater, Oakland Community College, All-City Dance Company, Dance Detroit and by various studio, fashion and industrial productions.
