The Assistant Professor of Business teaches twelve credit hours of courses per semester to serve both day and evening students. This faculty member serves on a faculty committee, acts as an academic advisor to undergraduates majoring in Business, and fulfills other responsibilities assigned by the President, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Special Assistant to the President, and the Business and Computer Information Systems Department Chairperson. The assistant professor of Business is an active scholar purposefully engaged in research, presentation, and publication.
Marygrove College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Business to begin in September, 2014. Candidates should have expertise in accounting and finance. An MBA degree and CPA certification is required. Normal teaching load: twelve credit hours per semester during the day and evening. We seek an energetic teacher experienced with online and multimedia methodologies, an active scholar, and a dependable colleague who will participate enthusiastically in departmental programs and activities. Departmental life includes student advising, sponsorship of an annual lecture series and student-oriented activities and organizations. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff.
