Marygrove College is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to support our marketing efforts—especially as it pertains to our online Master in the Art of Teaching program. Marygrove College has been a leader in teacher education since 1905. In the past decade, more teachers have earned their Master in the Art of Teaching (MAT) degree from Marygrove College than from any other college or university. Marygrove was one of the first colleges to offer the convenience and flexibility of a distance learning master’s degree. With more than 28,000 graduates from the distance learning master’s degree program since 1990, Marygrove has a history of serving K-12 teachers with a program that is relevant to today’s working educator.
Marygrove’s Social Media Specialistwill be responsible for social media efforts from a planning, implementation and analysis perspective. The successful candidate will be a proven social media marketer as evidenced by past management activities and social media campaign creation, execution and measurement. He/she will have solid understanding of how to drive consumer and business engagement within online social networks and the tools needed to do so. He/she will possess a strong interest in web technology and digital marketing space. He/she will also need to help plan and execute social media campaigns and will be responsible for distributing content, delivering regular analytics, and driving strong campaign engagement performance. This position will report to the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer.
