Online Readiness Survey

Please Read

The Online Readiness Survey has been designed to help you gauge your readiness for online learning. The questions fall into three categories: (1) technology experience, (2) access to tools, and (3) study habits and lifestyle. Each of these areas will have an impact on your ability to be successful in an online course.

The results of this survey are for your own use, although they may be made available to faculty upon request.

Scoring

If you answer "yes" to at least 18 of these statements, an online course may be for you.

If you answer "yes" to fewer than 18 statements, you will not be prohibited from taking an online course, but you may want to rethink your reasons for wanting to enroll in one. Decide now if you still feel comfortable with this style of instruction and are capable of learning this way.
