Academic service learning or community engagement is an excellent strategy for:
Reflection upon the academic and service experiences is a vital component of service learning, distinguishing it from other forms of service, internships, practicums, volunteer service days, etc. Reflections are offered in various ways within the classroom and outside it.

This also offers students the opportunity for course evaluation and suggestions.
