You’ll find our rates are more than reasonable and competitive with regional colleges and universities. With minimal off-campus housing options in the surrounding community, our living and learning community is the right choice for your college experience. You will also find our rates less expensive than campus-living at larger institutions and our amenities are in line with residence hall options regionally. All rates are per semester and are charged once in fall and once in spring. Summer housing options are not available at this time.

What is a meal plan?
Meal plans reflect average meals per week. Students are given a pool of money to begin the semester and must manage the funds themselves. Students can use their meal card at breakfast, lunch, dinner and “Late Night Hunger”. The cafeteria offers a wide variety of choices from a salad bar and sub-n-sandwich station, to pizza and other meals college students love!
I want my own side (double room).
Due to high demand, most students will be placed in quad or triple room arrangements. This means most on-campus students will share their room with another classmate/friend, etc. Don’t be discouraged. Residence Life is confident you will find our rooms spacious in comparison to most colleges or universities. Double occupancy rooms are reserved for seniors and are limited in availability. Class standing is determined by credit hours completed – not how many years a student has been at the institution.
Am I allowed to set up a payment plan to cover the cost of living on campus?
Yes. Marygrove allows eligible students will be provided the option to setup a TMS payment plan to help cover the cost of living on campus. Late payments may result in immediate removal from residency. For more information on payment plans please contact the Business Office.
All applicants who have financial approval for housing, by the end of the add/drop period (1st week of the term), will be billed at 100% of residence hall room and 100% of selected meal plan rate.
Applicants who are approved after the 1st week of the term will be billed 100% of the residence hall room and their meals will be prorated based on the week that they are approved.
Any residence hall student who meets the criteria listed below will be charged 100% of the residence hall room and given the option to either be charged for the amount of their meal plan that they used or be charged 100% of the meal plan and continue to utilize the meal plan until the end of the term.
Those who opt to continue to use their meal plan will not need their charges nor their financial aid adjusted.
(Unused portion of meal plan reversed from account balance could potentially result in refund to student)
