The department serves students from a diverse background residing in Metropolitan Detroit and beyond. The mission of the department is to assist in the intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual growth and development of the adult learner in pursuit of a formal education at Marygrove College. The department endeavors to continually focus on reaching and growing in excellence. The learning environment of the Women’s Leadership Institute, student development workshops, classroom teaching, and counseling provides a professional and personalized setting that is created with the unique needs of each student served in mind.
