Marygrove College responds to global community needs. The desire of the campus community to respond to local, national or global crisis is often coordinated through the Campus Ministry/Service Learning Office which:

• Host "Difficult Dialogues" - to foster engagement in conversations around issues of controversy throughout the year
• Reflections on Peace Dialogue in September
• Sponsors the International Day of Peace Vigil in September
• Coordinates "Make A Difference Day" in October
• Attend the Cranbrook Peace Foundation Annual Lecture—Cindy Sheehan in October
• Sponsors America's Table in November
• Coordinates donations for Thanksgiving baskets and shares them with less fortunate families in the city
• Coordinates the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Program in December
• Martin Luther King Celebration Week - January 9 until the 17, 2008
• Senior Service Day May 9, 2008
• Maintain the Garden Against Hunger Spring/Summer
