Why I love Marygrove
I absolutely am impressed by the activist spirit of the IHM Sisters. I love walking through campus and having students, faculty, and staff address me by name as if they grew up next door to me.

What I think is so great for students
It’s impossible for students to fall through the cracks here! You have to really make an effort to be anonymous. People will know you and will care about you.

About my family
I’m the fifth of six kids - typical Catholic family. My dad was a Detroit firefighter and my mom was a stay-at-home mom who started college when the kids moved out. She graduated cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree while in her 50’s and is still going strong in the workforce. My wife is a high school chemistry teacher and we have an 8-year old son. They are both awesome! We’ve done a fair amount of traveling and love camping in this great state.

Why Detroit?
Why not Detroit! Detroit offers so much. People are envious of the big city experience. You either get it or you don’t and I get it.

Something people don’t know about me
I was a flight attendant for 16 years.
