    The Cost of Online Education

    Is Going Down!

    Marygrove College today announced that it will reduce tuition for some of its online graduate programs by 19 percent.The reduction will be in effect for the 2012-2013 academic year and will apply to the following programs:

    The Graduate Admissions Department answers questions you may have about the college. As soon as we receive your completed application, you are assigned a personal admissions counselor to help you through the admissions process.

     

    If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out the online application forms. Have questions? We’ve got the answers — just call or email us. And remember, Marygrove College follows a “rolling admissions” policy — that means we accept applications all year. You may enter the college at the beginning of any term, however, it’s best to apply at least two months prior to your desired term of entry.

Educational Leadership
A Master of Arts in Educational Leadership will provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in managing and leading the modern school. This program focuses on the principal as the instructional leader and the chief architect of change in the school. In addition to a thorough grounding in the fundamental principles of administrative and management theory and capacity building, students will be introduced to the concept of the principal as change agent. Emphasis will be placed on acquiring organizational development, assessment, change skills and identifying and working with the issues facing the urban school administrator.

Graduates of the program will become leaders in using computers and integrating educational technology in the classrooms. They will also become technology experts in the school and school district. The technology revolution has touched all aspects of teaching and administration in today’s schools. As a result educators—teachers, professionals, and administrators alike—must keep up with changes and make choices among an ever expanding array of technology resources.

Modern Language Translation (1)

Modern Language Translation
The Modern Language Translation program is designed for professionals who plan to pursue a career in translation and train for the American Translators Association (ATA) certification. The certificate is also intended for individuals who wish to communicate effectively in a multilingual and multicultural work environment. The sequence of courses provides translation training from Arabic, French, or Spanish into English.
