PROGRAMS OFFERED
Master of Education, Adult Learning

Educators of adults recognize the importance of acknowledging the life experience of the adult learner.

The growing demand to meet the learning needs of adults in diverse settings for purposes ranging from basic math skills to young retirees has created many teaching opportunities, especially in the areas of vocational training, community services, GED centers, continuing education programs, health professions, religious education settings, and community colleges.

This program helps educators establish an "adult" teacher-learner relationship that responds to the particular needs of this emerging population.

This is not a teacher certification program.
